AAJ KA PANCHANG, May 3, 2023: Trayodashi and Chaturdashi Tithi will be marked by Shukla Paksha on Wednesday 3rd May. According to Drik Panchang, devotees will watch Prodosh Vrat on this day. This fast is kept to worship Lord Shiva. The Pradush Vrat is observed twice a month, on the Shukla Paksha Triodashi and the Krishna Paksha Triodashi. People in different parts of the country observe this fast with devotion. Check aaj ka panchang tithi, happy and unfavorable times to avoid hurdles while carrying out any rituals of the day.

  3. The name of the Pradosh Vrat changes according to the day on which it falls, when it is marked on a Thursday, it is called Guru Pradosh.
  4. On this day, devotees get up early and light an earthen lamp in front of the idols of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati after taking a bath.
  5. They also offer flowers and sweets to God and recite Pradosh Vrat Katha, Lord Shiva Aarti to chant Mamrityunjai Mantra 108 times.
