Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutzardari on Friday said his visit to Goa was “successful” as he defended his country’s cause on India’s soil.

Pakistani Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Friday said his visit to Goa was “successful” as he defended his country’s cause on India’s soil.

His remarks came hours after he accused his Indian counterpart S Jaishankar of being a “promoter, justifier and spokesperson for a terrorist industry”.

Speaking at a press conference after returning from Goa where he attended a meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Council of Foreign Ministers, Bhutto Zardari said his trip to India was “successful” because it helped nullify the view that every Muslim was a terrorist.

“We have tried to break this myth,” Bhutto Zardari said.

Jaishankar launched an attack against Bhutto Zardari in his speech at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization meeting, objecting to Pakistan’s foreign minister’s statement that terrorism should not be a “weapon for diplomatic point-scoring”, in remarks seen as directed at India.

Hours later in a press conference, Jaishankar said that Bhutto Zardari’s statement about subconsciously arming terrorism reveals his mentality.

“As foreign minister of one of the SCO member states, Bhutto Zardari was treated accordingly. As a promoter, justifier and spokesperson for the terrorism industry, which is the mainstay of Pakistan, his positions were recalled and answered including at the SCO meeting,” Jaishankar said. Himself.

Responding to a question about the talks with India, Bhutto Zardari said that Pakistan was clear that India should create a conducive environment for the talks by restoring the status of Kashmir before August 5, 2019.

He also said that Central Asian countries are looking forward to becoming part of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.

He said that every country except India supports the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and spoke highly of it.

Earlier, Bhutto-Zardari had returned on a PAF special plane from India and landed in Karachi where she was greeted by the Chief Minister of Sindh, Murad Ali Shah, and other members of the government.
