Krishan Kumar Tiwari (42), his wife Anamika (38), and nine-year-old daughter Surabhi were murdered in their rented accommodation in Rajendra Park in 2021.
Lawyer Anand Yadav, who was arrested on charges of conspiracy in connection with a 2021 quadruple homicide case, admitted on Monday that he worked out a plan with his father to eliminate his wife and tenant who he suspected of having an affair, police claimed on Monday.
Krishan Kumar Tiwari (42), his wife Anamika (38), and his nine-year-old daughter Surabhi were killed in their rented accommodation in Rajendra Park in 2021. Yadav’s wife, Sunita, was also killed.
The police had arrested Rao Rai Singh, a retired army personnel and Yadav’s father, in connection with the murder.
Deputy Inspector of Police (Ferozpur Jirga) Satish Kumar Vats said that Yadav revealed during interrogation that he was tired of the “illicit relationship” between Sunita and Tiwari.
Vats said, “There were daily problems in his family because of this. Finally, after a discussion with his father, Yadav hatches a plan to kill Sunita and Tiwari.”
“After hatching out the conspiracy, he went to Khatu Shyam in Rajasthan before the murders to create an alibi,” said Vats, who is heading the Noh police special investigation team on the case. Yadav was arrested on Saturday. Police represented him in a local court, and sent him to judicial custody, on Monday.

Singh, who had also allegedly killed his daughter-in-law Sunita, walked into a police station armed and surrendered.
Singh and his wife Bimlesh were arrested by the police and placed in Bundsee Jail. Singh killed himself in prison in October.
The case was transferred to the police in Noah and a special investigation team was formed at the request of Sunita’s family members.
