GENEVA: At least 800,000 people in Myanmar need emergency food and other assistance after Cyclone Mocha hit the conflict-torn country earlier this week, the United Nations said on Friday.
The cyclone left a trail of destruction across Myanmar Rakhine stateHouses have been flattened, roads have been cut down, hospitals and schools have been destroyed, and telecommunications and power lines have been severely disrupted.
