East Central Railway said Vande Bharat will cover the distance from Patna to Ranchi in six hours and five minutes covering 410 kilometers of the new road. The eight-carriage train will run six days a week, according to rail officials

The trial run of the Patna-Ranchi Vande Bharat line will be held on June 12, with the Central Railway giving an order on Saturday. This is Vande Bharat Train No. 20 after the train scheduled to run between Goa and Mumbai.

In the Patna-Ranchi Vande Bharat Trial, the Eastern Central Railway’s Principal Passenger Transport Manager issued a letter to the Chief Divisional Operations Manager of the Danapur, Mughalsarai and Dhanbad divisions asking them to guarantee the arrangements. According to the letter, the traffic inspector at Danapur was required to do foot-painting and minute-to-minute registration from Patna to Gaya, while the Dhanbad division is required to do foot-painting and minute-to-minute registration from Gaya to Ranchi and on the way back.

A copy of the order was sent to the Danapur, Mughalsarai and Dhanbad railway sections. According to Eastern Central Railways, Vande Bharat will cover the distance from Patna to Ranchi in six hours and five minutes covering 410 kilometers of the new route. This train will be run on a new railway line from Patna to Ranchi covering Kodarma, Hazaribagh, Parkakana, Siddhar, Sankey, Tatesilway. There will be five stops including Patna, Kaya, Koderma, Hazaribagh, Barkakana and Ranchi (Mishra). The eight-carriage train will run six days a week, according to rail officials. Training of rangers, local pilots and TTs was in progress before the trial.

Trial run schedule

Vande Bharat will depart from Patna Junction at 6.55 AM and reach Gaya at 8.20 AM. The semi-rapid train will depart after a 10-minute stop and will stop at Pracakana at 11:30 am. After a five-minute stop, he will reach Ranchi at 1 pm. After 80 minutes, Vande Bharat will depart Ranchi at 2.20pm and return to Patna at 8.25pm.
