Zoe Stark teased Trish Stratus’ potential appearance at Money in the Bank in London next month.
Stark secured her spot in the Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match last week on Raw after defeating Natalya in a qualifying match. She has been on the list since joining the main roster from NXT through the WWE Draft. She remains undefeated and formed a partnership with Stratus, who is still embroiled in a feud with Becky Lynch.
in appearance on Talk of women’s wrestling podcast, Stark discussed Stratus’ possible involvement in Money in the Bank. She will have her hands full in the match since Lynch also qualified for it a week ago.
“Now it’s time to make money in the bank and take that briefcase,” said Stark. “Trish will help me all the way. I’m not saying she’ll be ringside, but we’ll have a game plan to see what’s the best course. I’ll study, Zelina (Vega) and Becky and then everyone else in that match.” (free fighting)
In addition to Stark, Lynch, and Vega, Bayley and Iyo Sky qualified for the Money in the Bank ladder match this past week on SmackDown. Bayley defeated Michin, while Sky defeated Shotzi. The sixth and final entrant will likely be unveiled in the coming weeks.
Zoe Stark on working with Trish Stratus
Trish Stratus stole the win against Becky Lynch at Night of Champions last month with the help of Zoe Stark. Near the end of the match, Stark appeared from under the ring to hit Lynch with a Z-360 before grabbing Stratus with an uppercut.
The WWE Hall of Famer hit the Stratusfaction Championship, which opened Lynch’s nose, for the win. It was an unexpected partnership between Stratus and Stark, but the young WWE star cherishes the experience.
“Trish and I, we get along great,” Stark said on the Women’s Wrestling Talk podcast. “We’re having a great time. She was great, guiding me and giving me good advice. (h/t fighting)
Zoey Stark has the chance to win the Money in the Bank briefcase in London. If Trish Stratus participates, the Starks’ chances of winning increase. It’s also likely to ramp up the story with Becky Lynch, who is definitely looking for revenge against Stark and Stratos.
