Even two-sport world champion Anatoly Malekin was left in awe of Mansur Malakiyev’s impressive promotional appearance at ONE Fight Night 11 last weekend.

The yet undefeated Dagestani justified the massive hype surrounding him, needing less than a round to Ragdoll and submission Jeremy Meadow to announce his entry into the stacked hayweight division.

Ecstatic, present at Lumpini Stadium to cheer on his fellow Russians, Malykhin had nothing but to praise the 11-0 fighter shortly after the match.

‘Sladkiy’ told ONE Championship in an exclusive interview:

“It was a great fight! Once again, he proved that Dagestan wrestling has a lot of weight, and everyone should take it seriously. It was a great start with a win, what more do you need?”

After winning two titles in two divisions in Eagle FC, Malakev was immediately given a tough test against back-to-back Miyado.

The ‘Jaguars’ are, after all, a killer striker, with their last four victories coming by way of incredible finishing.

However, the 32-year-old put relentless pressure on the Dagestani-style straightaway, forcing the Filipino to fight his back for most of the fight.

By doing so, the Master of Universal Fighters was able to neutralize Miado’s deadly blows and do what he does best.

Malakiev delivered a hard knee on his fallen opponent and immediately locked in with the exposed neck to finish D’Arce’s book choke.

Malachiev’s sensational reboot is available for free to Prime Video subscribers in North America.

Meanwhile, Mallikhin will look to make his victory statement in the upcoming world heavyweight title unification war against hot rival Arjan Bhullar at ONE Friday Fights 22 on June 23.
