Former lightweight kickboxing world title contender Arian Sadikovich thinks he’s got his rematch with king of the division Regian Ercel after his impressive showing at ONE Fight Night 11 last weekend.

The ‘Game Over’ outlasted multi-time kickboxing world champion Nieky Holzken in their all-out three-round indoor war of Lumpinee and emerged with a dominant unanimous decision victory.

Speaking during his post-event interview, Sadikovich reiterated his desire to finish The Immortal, claiming that the outcome would be different this time around:

“So the different thing is, I won’t lose my focus. When I put him down, I’ll knock him down.”

After a successful debut against Mustafa Haida in 2021, Sadiković took on the difficult task of dethroning the great Eersel in the main event at ONE 156.

The German lead took the fight to the lightweight king of kickboxing and tested him like never before.

In the second round, Sadikovich trapped Ercel against the ring fence and unleashed a barrage of punches before launching himself for a perfect flying knee and flooring “The Immortal”.

Despite this, Eersel survived the blow and dominated the next rounds, cruising towards a close unanimous decision victory.

However, Sadiković believes he has done enough to win that match and now has salvation on his mind.
