The 2023 NBA Finals could conclude tonight as the Denver Nuggets lead 3-1 in the series against the Miami Heat heading into Game 5. Since the beginning of the finals, the series has had many memorable moments from both teams, which makes this matchup interesting.

Given the way both teams played, the Nuggets and Heat played some kind of basketball. Al-Wehdat stars relied on others to put the ball in the hoop to increase their chances of winning the title. Jamal Murray has shown that he is a very capable player when it comes to sharing rock.

Murray is the player with the highest average number of assists in this year’s Finals. He averages 10.5 assists over four games, which gives him a total of 42 tackles in the series. His teammate, Nikola Jokic, tracks him down in the help department. Jokic averaged eight assists in Finals.

In total, Joker has provided 32 assists for the Nuggets, including two games where he caught 14 assists.

For the Heat, Jimmy Butler did his best to share the ball with the rest of the team. He averaged 6.8 assists in the finals, bringing his total to 27 in four games. Even though he shared the ball with his team, it wasn’t effective because Denver is one win away from winning the NBA title.

The Heat has confirmed that Tyler Herro will return to Game 5 of the 2023 NBA Finals, after missing the majority of the postseason for his team. Hero has not played for Miami since he was injured during the first round of the playoffs against the Milwaukee Bucks.

Herro broke his hand in the first round and was a fixture on the Heat bench in the playoffs. Without him, the team relied heavily on Butler and Bam Adebayo, who did an impressive job of leading the South Beach team back to the NBA’s biggest stage.

Prior to Game 5, the 2021-22 Man of the Year winner was listed as questionable. Without him, the Heat have struggled to get points when their stars are on rest.

Fortunately for the Heat, unrecorded players like Max Stross, Gabe Vincent, Caleb Martin and Duncan Robinson have stepped up their game. However, that is clearly not enough as Miami found themselves falling behind and on the verge of losing the 2023 NBA Finals to the Nuggets.

Gabe Vincent led the Heat in scoring in Game 2 of the NBA Finals with 23 points and is currently the 397th highest paid player in the NBA. https://t.co/80hVD3iKvx
