The company has scheduled these outages to coincide with the quarterly maintenance work being carried out by Karnataka Power Transmission Company Limited (KPTCL). According to BESCOM, residents may experience power outages between 10am and 5pm in most areas.
According to a notification on the BESCOM website, a number of districts in Bengaluru such as JP Nagar, Jayanagar, Mahadevapura, Bannerghatta Road and Srinivasanagar, among others, are set to face power outages on Wednesday.

List of areas that can be affected:
F-1 zones: Krishna nadanagara, MEI road brewing zone, Prasad plant, Gowtham nagara and acidity zones.
F-2 zones: RMC square, Swasthik Gajanana slam and acidity zones
F-3 Zones: Srikanteshwaranagara, Marappana palya, and sour zones.
F-10 areas: Jai maruthi nagara, Srinivasa nagara, Sakamma badavane, ravi badavane and blush areas.
F-12 District: PWD Quarters, APMC Quarters, Reserve Bank of India Quarters, Syndicate Banks Quarters, MF Quarters, EWS Quarters, BPMC Quarters, Corporate Quarters and Affected Areas.
F-7 Districts: Nandini Mapping of the Fourth Block and Ridges.
F-8 areas: MEI back mentioned industrial zone, Gorguntepalya and downhill areas.
F-13 areas: Kulinagara slam and sournding area and lakshmidevi nagara and sournding area
