To ensure smooth movement of passengers and limit excessive rush on the platforms, the Mumbai Central Railway division has restricted the sale of platform tickets at six stations – Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Station (CSMT), Dadar, Thane, Kalyan, Lokmania Tilak Terminus (LTT) and Panvel. The restrictions, which took effect Thursday, will remain until July 15.
In CSMT, Dadar and Kalyan vending is not allowed between 6 PM to 12:30 AM, in Thane Restriction between 7 PM to 1.30 AM, LTT: 6.30 PM to 1 AM, Panvel: 11 PM to 2 AM respectively.
