An Indian soldier jumped into a canal early in the Patiala district of Punjab to save a drowning teenage girl on Sunday.
In a video released by the PR officer, the soldier, Western Command, who identifies as Sepoy DN Krishnan, can be seen jumping into the water to save the girl, who was then pulled from the canal by bystanders.
