The footage shows two other people stabbing and hitting the body while the police continue to watch.

The video of the attack went viral after Tajpuria was murdered early Tuesday by four members of the rival Gogi gang – Deepak alias Tetar, Yogesh alias Tonda, Rajesh and Riaz Khan – who stabbed him “92 times”. The four attackers surrendered. On the first floor of the prison, cut through the iron grate and use the bed sheets to go down.

Shocking security camera footage from the prison as it captured the attack showed Tajpuria, dressed in a red shirt and black shorts, rushing inside a cell and pulling the iron door shut after spotting the attackers.

Since the door could not be locked from the inside, the attackers managed to break into the cell and pull Tajpuria out. They dragged him into the common area and repeatedly stabbed him in the neck, back and head with improvised weapons as he tried to protect his face from the brutal attack.

The attackers continue to stab Tagpuria with blunt weapons until their hands are drenched in blood, which also splatters on the ground. The attack ended within two minutes.

The officials stated that the Delhi Police Special Cell, which specializes in handling cases related to gang rivalry, will investigate the killing inside the Tihar Jail premises.

They also reveal that the same team will investigate the murder of another gangster, Prince Tewatia, a close associate of Lawrence Bishnoi, which happened in prison last month.

The court granted permission to question the four prisoners accused of killing Tajpuria. The crime scene was examined and evidence was collected, including bloodstained clothing, improvised weapons, and bed linen.

Tajpuria had been in Tihar jail since 2016 and was facing a threat to his life after he was involved in the 2021 Rohini court shootout that left gangster Jitinder Gogi dead.
