The movie was a college drama depicting the friendship between a group of friends and how they deal with the challenges of life. The chemistry between Shraddha and Sushant was loved by the audience, and their performance was praised by the critics. And during promotions, the duo had a great time together. Their chemistry off screen was as good as it was on screen, and their camaraderie added to the hype surrounding the movie.
In a promotional video from the film, now circulating online, Shraddha reveals that she tried to communicate in an American accent and found it “exhausting”. she says, while Sushant Singh Rajput cracks. Shraddha, in fact, has a unique gift – the ability to master various dialects. During several TV interviews, the actress impresses audiences by effortlessly switching between American, Russian, British, and French accents. While shooting Batti Gul Meter Chalu, Shraddha picked up the Uttarakhand dialect. Talking about it, Shraddha said, “Kumuni’s dialect sounds unique and different. It needs a fair amount of practice because it is difficult to replicate it, as it is.”

While many swarmed the comment section to pay tribute to Shraddha, many couldn’t hold back from remembering the late Sushant Singh Rajput. “It really hurts to see Sushant here. Every face is smiling and happy,” one fan wrote.
On the work front, Shraddha was last seen alongside Ranbir Kapoor in Luv Ranjan’s Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. It has Chaalbaaz in London and Street 2 in the pipeline.
