Dakota Kai sent a heartfelt message to the WWE Superstar on her birthday today.
IYO SKY from Damage CTRL turned 33 today. IYO faced Bianca Belair for the RAW Women’s Championship this past Saturday night at Backlash in Puerto Rico. Despite attempts by Bayley and Dakota Kai to interfere in the match, EST retained the RAW Women’s Championship.
Earlier today, Dakota took to Twitter to send an IYO message on her birthday. She posted a video of the two sharing a warm moment together and wished fellow Damage CTRL member a happy birthday.

Dakota Kai is engaged to WWE legend Shawn Michaels
Dakota Kai recently praised Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels for always supporting her.
The Heartbreak Kid is currently the creative director for NXT and even appeared during the 2023 WWE Draft to announce two draft picks. Shawn works closely with NXT performers and has been credited by many superstars for helping them in their careers.

“He’s great. When I was in NXT, he was the guy we used to look up to, and he was so supportive of me as well. He always supported me, and he would compare me to him in terms of personality, like a guy bumping into a crazy guy,” Dakota Kai said. I think he saw me in him when he was younger. It was a great support.” (5:18 – 5:39)
CTRL has struggled to get back on track since the group lost the Women’s Tag Team Championship earlier this year. It will be interesting to see if the new start on SmackDown will help the faction following the WWE Draft.
