This has traditionally been done with glucometers, which diabetics use to prick their fingers over and over again to get drops of blood. But over the past decade, technology like continuous glucose monitoring has been on the rise.

Abbott And dexcom They are the two most dominant players in the space. Both companies have experienced exponential growth.

This technology is also being marketed through various health and wellness applications as many companies see benefits for those without diabetes.
